The linings that the caliper squeezes against the disc to slow the bike.
BERINGER offers these brake pads. Each pad is a metal backing plate covered with a lining that rubs on the disc. That lining wears a little every time you brake, and much faster in mud and sand.
The benefits:
Beringer, founded in 1985 in the Loire and based in Saint-Jean-d’Ardières, has developed its brakes in racing for more than 30 years: aerospace-grade aluminium calipers and master cylinders machined from solid, with a range dedicated to motocross, enduro and supermoto.
Replace them when the friction material is down to about 1-2 mm or at the first metallic noise: beyond that the disc gets damaged.
Cross-Mania tip: Clean the caliper and pad pins, push the pistons back gently and bed in the new pads with a few progressive stops.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
