The wear parts of the brake caliper (pistons, seals, pins…) to restore consistent braking without replacing the whole caliper.
BERINGER offers this brake caliper rebuild kit. The caliper is the clamp that squeezes the pads onto the disc. Inside, one or more pistons are pushed out by the brake fluid when you pull the lever or press the pedal.
The benefits:
Beringer, founded in 1985 in the Loire and based in Saint-Jean-d’Ardières, has developed its brakes in racing for more than 30 years: aerospace-grade aluminium calipers and master cylinders machined from solid, with a range dedicated to motocross, enduro and supermoto.
A brake that drags or runs hot, pads worn at an angle, a scored, pitted or sticking piston, fluid around the piston: the caliper needs rebuilding.
Cross-Mania tip: Clean the seal grooves without scratching them (plastic or wooden tool), coat seals and pistons with fresh brake fluid, grease the slide pins with a brake-compatible grease, then bleed the system.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
