SKF wheel seal kit for BETA RR, RS, RX, XTRAINER 125, 200, 250, 300, 350, 390, 400, 430, 450, 480, 498, 520, 525 from 2005 to 2027. HD (heavy duty) version, designed for severe off-road use and frequent pressure washing.

The SKF VKWB-F-30-HDS-C wheel seal kit is designed for BETA RR 125, RR 200, RR 250, RR 300, RR 350, RR 390, RR 400, RR 430, RR 450, RR 480, RR 498, RR 520, RR 525, RS 400, RX 250, RX 300, RX 350, RX 450, XTRAINER 250, XTRAINER 300 from 2005 to 2027. Wheel seals close off the hub on each side and protect the bearings from water, mud and sand. Their lip runs on the side spacer: once hardened or torn, it lets water in and the bearings rust within a few rides.

When to replace it?

Lip hardened, split or coming away, seal moving in its housing.
Water or mud inside the hub when you take the wheel out.
Wheel bearings that are rusty or quickly develop play.

Replace the seals every time you change the bearings, and as soon as they are damaged. In motocross and enduro in the mud, check them every time the wheel comes out.

Fitting tips

Remove the wheel and side spacers, then lever under the seal with a screwdriver with a protected tip, without marking the hub.
Clean the housing and check the spacer: a scored or rusty sealing surface wears out the new lip.
Pack the lip with waterproof grease and press the seal in perfectly flat, flush with the hub, using a socket of the same diameter.
Refit the spacers and the wheel, then torque the axle to the figure in the manual.
