The piston ring seals the gap between piston and cylinder: it keeps the engine's compression.
CABER piston ring.
The CABER S.350.15.N piston ring is a universal part. The ring sits in the piston groove. It seals the piston against the cylinder and carries part of the piston's heat away. This one is sold singly, in the bore and thickness given: it's the part you change to bring compression back to an engine whose piston is still in good shape.
At every top-end check, and straight away as soon as compression drops. As a Cross-Mania guideline, on a 2-stroke motocross bike the rings are checked every 10 to 15 hours of racing and every 20 to 30 hours of leisure riding.
How do I find the right ring?
Measure the cylinder bore and the thickness of the original ring, then check the notch position: diameter, thickness and type are given in the title and specifications.
Do I need to order two?
Yes if your piston has two rings: this one is sold singly, so order one per ring groove.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
