WOSSNER offers this complete crankshaft. The crankshaft is the engine’s main shaft: the rod turns it and it drives the clutch and gearbox.
The benefits:
Wössner has also forged its own connecting rods since 2010, with the same in-house forging expertise as its pistons.
Unusual vibration, a deep knock that follows engine speed or play in the con-rod: the bottom end needs a rebuild.
The manufacturer publishes no hour interval for this model: have the con-rod play checked at every piston change. Cross-Mania guideline: rebuild the bottom end every 2 to 3 top-end rebuilds.
Cross-Mania tip: Take the opportunity, with the cases open, to replace the crankshaft bearings and oil seals.
Universal part: check the dimensions before ordering.
