NISSIN offers this clutch lever. When you pull the lever, the cable or hydraulic system separates the clutch plates: the engine no longer drives the wheel, so you can change gear or stop without stalling.
The benefits:
Nissin, the Japanese brake maker founded in 1953 (now part of Astemo), has produced motorcycle master cylinders since 1971 and disc brakes since 1974; Honda, formerly its largest shareholder, fits Nissin calipers as original equipment on its CR and CRF models.
Replace it when it is bent, cracked, broken or has developed play on its pivot.
Cross-Mania tip: Grease the pivot and the cable end, then set the free play at the lever.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
