MOTION PRO Hot Start Cable for YAMAHA YZF 250 2010-2013

On YAMAHA YZF 250 from 2010 to 2013, the MOTION PRO 05-0399 hot start cable fits in place of the original part. The hot start lets extra air into the intake so that a hot or flooded four-stroke engine restarts easily. Its cable links the control on the handlebar to the carburettor or throttle body.

Fitting tips

1. Note the routing of the old cable.
2. Fit the new cable along the same route, with no tight bends, and grease its ends.
3. Set the free play: the control must snap back cleanly to the closed position.
