The SKF (vert) KYB 43 mm KITG-43K fork oil seal and dust seal kit is designed for KAWASAKI KDX 200, KLX 250, KLX 300, KLX 650, KX 125, KX 250, KX 500, HONDA CR 125, CR 250, CR 500, BETA XTRAINER 250, XTRAINER 300 and SUZUKI DL 1000 from 1991 to 2026. This kit brings together the fork's oil seals and dust seals: everything you need to renew the sealing of both legs in one go. The oil seal holds the oil in, and the dust seal wipes off the mud before it reaches the seal.

When to replace it?

• Film of oil on the inner tube after a few fork strokes.
• Oil traces on the fork leg, the caliper or the brake disc.
• Dust seals cracked, hardened or lifting out of the fork leg.

Before replacing leaking seals, clean under their lips: a trapped grain of sand is sometimes enough to cause the leak. Check the type and diameter of your fork (in the name) or the original size.

Fitting tips

1. Drain and disassemble the fork legs following the manual, then remove the dust seals, the circlips and the old seals.
2. Check the fork bushings and the condition of the inner tubes.
3. Protect the end of the tube, oil the lips and drive each seal in straight with a seal driver of the right diameter.
4. Refit the circlips and the dust seals, then reset the fork oil level.
