The XTRIG HiLo fourche SHOWA 37 mm 70100020 holeshot device is designed for HONDA CR 85, CRF 150 and SUZUKI RM 85 from 2002 to 2027. The holeshot device keeps the fork compressed on the starting gate. The front end sits lower, the bike wheelies less on acceleration and you can open the throttle earlier and harder. The fork releases by itself on the first compression, under braking or on the first bump.

Do I have to disengage it by hand?
No: it releases when the fork compresses a little further, under braking or on the first bump. Never ride with a device that does not release.
