The WORKS CONNECTION Pro Launch 12-228 holeshot device is designed for HONDA CRF 250, CRF 450 from 2019 to 2026. The holeshot device keeps the fork compressed on the starting gate. The front end sits lower, the bike wheelies less on acceleration and you can open the throttle earlier and harder. The fork releases by itself on the first compression, under braking or on the first bump.

Good to know

Fitting tips
- Clean the fork leg where the device will mount.
- Position the device as per the instructions, without pinching the brake hose or touching the fork guard.
- Tighten to the specified torque, then test: compress the fork, engage the device and check that it releases properly on the next compression.

The Elite clutch perch sums up the approach: body, adjuster wheel and lever CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, a lever running on three sealed bearings, on-the-fly adjustment and a nylon sleeve that lets the perch rotate in a crash.

Do I have to disengage it by hand?
No: it releases when the fork compresses a little further, under braking or on the first bump. Never ride with a device that does not release.
