With the LEATT Core 1.5 Hydration pack, LEATT puts a water supply on your back, with the tube and bite valve within reach of your mouth, in graphite.
In enduro you sweat a lot and often spend hours far from the van. A bladder on your back, connected to a tube and a bite valve that you bring up to your helmet's chin bar, lets you drink regularly without taking your helmet off or stopping.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
Fill the bladder just before you set off and squeeze out the air to stop it sloshing. If you ride with a chest protector, adjust the straps over it so everything stays put. Rinse the bladder and tube after use, then dry them open.
Which size should I choose?
It comes in one adjustable size; when the manufacturer gives a fit range (for example XS to XXL), it's listed in the specifications. Adjust the straps so the pack stays stable when you stand up.
Can I wear it with a chest protector?
Yes, most riders wear it over their chest protector or body armour; just adjust the straps to suit. Some models even have built-in chest protection.
