With the LEATT 3.5 Body armour vest, LEATT offers a body armour vest for motocross and enduro, here in Graphene.
A body armour vest combines chest, back and often shoulder protection in a single piece: it is worn close to the body, under the jersey, and follows the rider's movements.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
Choose the size from the rider height given; the vest should fit snugly without squeezing. Wear it under a jersey one size up. Check compatibility with your neck brace. Hand-wash, with the protectors taken out if they are removable.
What is the difference from a chest protector?
The vest is worn close to the body and covers more area; a chest protector is a stiffer shell against roost.
How do I wash it?
By hand in soapy water, after taking out the removable protectors, then air-dry.
