The ODI H641CFS handlebar. The handlebar sets your riding position and soaks up some of the impacts. Its shape (the bend: height, width, sweep) changes the way you hold the bike: the right bend makes you more at ease both standing and seated.
Always replace a bent handlebar: straightened aluminium is weakened and can break. To choose the bend, compare height, width and sweep with your current handlebar.
On the throttle side, the grip has its throttle tube built in, with clip-on cams, and the Emig V2 version was born in 2013 from a collaboration with Jeff Emig. ODI also supplies the original-equipment grips for KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas, in a firmer compound than the grips it sells as accessories.
Handlebar with or without a crossbar?
A handlebar without a crossbar (28.6 mm at the clamps) flexes more and filters impacts better. The 22 mm handlebar with a crossbar is more traditional and fits the stock clamps of many bikes.
How do I choose the bend?
Compare it with your current handlebar: a higher bend favours riding standing up, while a lower, wider bend helps you load the front end in corners.
