The RACETECH R-KITRM0-OEM-501 plastic kit is designed for SUZUKI RM 125, RM 250 from 1998 to 2000. A plastic kit replaces in one go the bodywork parts that get damaged most: fenders, front number plate, radiator shrouds and side panels, depending on how many pieces the kit contains. It is the simplest way to bring a motocross or enduro bike worn down by crashes and hours of riding back to a like-new look.

When to replace it?

• Plastics cracked, broken or warped after a crash.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the seat and the fuel tank if necessary, then the old plastics, keeping all the hardware: it goes back on the new kit.
2. Clean the frame, the air box and the mounts before test-fitting the new parts.
3. Tighten without forcing: over-tightening cracks the plastic around the bolts. Replace damaged bolts with new plastics hardware.
4. If you are fitting a graphics kit, do it on clean, degreased plastics at room temperature.

They can rarely be reused once peeled off. The shapes of replica plastics follow the originals, so you can fit a graphics kit made for your bike.

Do I need new bolts?
The original hardware can be refitted if it is in good condition. New hardware saves you from forcing on damaged heads.
