      The PROX 17.CS42014 clutch spring kit is designed for KAWASAKI KDX 200, KX 125 from 1994 to 2006. The clutch springs clamp the plate pack together. With heat and hours of use, they lose length and strength: the clutch slips, even with plates in good condition.

      When to replace it?

      • Clutch slipping even though the plates are within spec.
      • Spring free length below the minimum given in the manual (measured with a vernier caliper).

      Every time you change the plates, or as soon as the free length falls below the minimum.

      Fitting tips

      1. Replace all the springs together for even pressure.
      2. Tighten the bolts gradually, in a criss-cross pattern, to the manufacturer's torque.
      3. Take the opportunity to check the friction plates and the steel plates.
      4. Close up with a new clutch cover gasket.
