ATHENA Clutch Friction Plate Kit + cover gasket for SUZUKI RMX 450, RMZ 450 2008-2022

ATHENA offers this clutch friction plate kit for SUZUKI RMX 450, RMZ 450 2008-2022. Friction plates alternate with the steel plates. Their lining wears at every start and gear change; once too thin, it no longer grips and the clutch slips.

Why replace the friction plates?

The benefits:

• Stop the clutch slipping.
• Get back a progressive, easy-to-modulate clutch.
• An economical clutch refresh.

Why choose ATHENA?

Athena, founded in 1973 by Giovanni Mancassola near Vicenza and based in Alonte (Italy), designs gaskets, pistons and cylinder kits; it supplies original equipment to manufacturers such as KTM, Ducati, Fantic and Triumph.

When should you replace the clutch plates on your SUZUKI RMZ 450?

Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
