On YAMAHA WRF 250, YZF 250 and GAS GAS ECF 250, ECF 300 from 2001 to 2015, the WISECO WWPP3023 clutch basket fits in place of the original part. Every time the clutch bites, the plate tabs hammer against the basket slots. A notched basket stops the plates from sliding freely: the clutch becomes snatchy and hard to modulate.

Fitting tips

1. Check the basket bushing or needle bearing and the primary drive gear.
2. Keep the original washer order.
3. Hold the inner hub with a suitable tool and tighten the nut to the manufacturer's torque, with its lock washer.
4. Fit friction plates in good condition and a new clutch cover gasket.
