      NEWFREN offers this clutch friction plate kit for YAMAHA WR 250, YZ 250, YZ 250 X, YZF 250, YZF 450 and FANTIC XX 250 1993-2027. Friction plates alternate with the steel plates. Their lining wears at every start and gear change; once too thin, it no longer grips and the clutch slips.

      Measure the friction plate thickness and the spring free length: below the manufacturer's minimum they must be replaced. Blued or warped steel plates are replaced too.
