The PROX 420 07.RC420130C drive chain is a universal part. The chain transmits power from the front sprocket to the rear sprocket. Off-road, it works in mud, sand and water: a quality chain, correctly tensioned and lubed, keeps the drivetrain smooth and makes the sprockets last.
Replace the chain when the adjusters reach the end of their travel or as soon as it has tight spots, and always together with the front and rear sprockets if they're worn.
Founded in 1975 and based near Amsterdam, ProX specialises in engine and clutch wear parts for off-road bikes. The brand has most of its range made in Japan, by OEM suppliers, for quality on a par with the original parts.
Sealed or non-sealed chain?
An O-ring or X-ring chain keeps its grease inside and lasts longer. A non-sealed chain has less friction and is still popular in motocross, but needs lubing more often.
Should the sprockets be changed?
If they're worn, yes: a new chain running on a worn front sprocket and rear sprocket gets damaged very quickly.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
