JT SPROCKETS drive chain.
The JT SPROCKETS JTC520X1RGB120DL drive chain. Between the engine and the rear wheel, the chain takes every acceleration. A tired chain stretches, wears the sprockets and ends up jumping off or snapping: it's a major wear part.
Replace the chain when the adjusters reach the end of their travel or as soon as it has tight spots, and always together with the front and rear sprockets if they're worn.
JT Sprockets describes itself as the world's number one manufacturer of aftermarket front and rear sprockets: more than 18 million parts a year, more than 2,500 part numbers and distribution in more than 70 countries from its centres in London and Atlanta. Every part goes through up to 25 production stages and 10 quality checks.
Sealed or non-sealed chain?
An O-ring or X-ring chain keeps its grease inside and lasts longer. A non-sealed chain has less friction and is still popular in motocross, but needs lubing more often.
Should the sprockets be changed?
If they're worn, yes: a new chain running on a worn front sprocket and rear sprocket gets damaged very quickly.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
