With the LEATT Team Beanie, LEATT offers a beanie for cold mornings at the track and winter days, in denim blue.
After a hard session, a sweaty head cools down fast in the paddock; pulling on a beanie as soon as you leave the track stops you getting chilled, and it then fits in a pocket.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
Keep it in your gear bag so you can pull it on as soon as the moto ends. Hand-wash in lukewarm water and dry flat. On really cold days, add a windproof jacket.
Can I wear this beanie under my helmet?
No: nothing should come between your head and your helmet, which needs a snug, direct fit to protect you properly. Put the beanie on once the helmet is off.
How do I wash a beanie?
By hand, in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent, without rubbing hard; squeeze it out in a towel and let it dry flat.
