With the LEATT Team Beanie, LEATT offers a beanie for cold mornings at the track and winter days, in brass brown.
Race days often start early and cold: between sighting laps, motos and loading the van, a beanie keeps your head warm as soon as the helmet comes off.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
A beanie is for off the bike: never wear it under your helmet, as it would upset the fit. Hand-wash it in lukewarm water and dry it flat, away from radiators, so it keeps its shape.
Can I wear this beanie under my helmet?
No: nothing should come between your head and your helmet, which needs a snug, direct fit to protect you properly. Put the beanie on once the helmet is off.
How do I wash a beanie?
By hand, in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent, without rubbing hard; squeeze it out in a towel and let it dry flat.
