The linings that the caliper squeezes against the disc to slow the bike.
TECNIUM offers these brake pads for KTM XC 450, XC 525 2008-2012. Each pad is a metal backing plate covered with a lining that rubs on the disc. That lining wears a little every time you brake, and much faster in mud and sand.
Why replace your pads in time?
The benefits:
- Strong braking that is easy to control, wet or dry.
- Pads changed in time protect the disc, which costs far more.
- Shape made for your caliper: simple fitting, no modification.
When should you replace the brake pads on your KTM XC 525?
Replace them when the friction material is down to about 1-2 mm or at the first metallic noise: beyond that the disc gets damaged.
