NISSIN offers this control part. On a hydraulic control, the lever pushes a small piston in the master cylinder, and the fluid carries that force to the brake caliper or to the clutch slave cylinder on the engine.
The benefits:
Nissin, the Japanese brake maker founded in 1953 (now part of Astemo), has produced motorcycle master cylinders since 1971 and disc brakes since 1974; Honda, formerly its largest shareholder, fits Nissin calipers as original equipment on its CR and CRF models.
Replace it when the lever goes soft or comes back to the grip, when fluid leaks, or when a part is cracked or damaged after a crash.
Cross-Mania tip: Check that the control works properly and is tight before riding.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
