MOTUL RBF 700 Racing Brake Fluid Dot 4 500ml (x12)

MOTUL offers this brake fluid. When you pull the lever or press the pedal, the master cylinder pushes the fluid into the hose; because a liquid cannot be compressed, that push reaches the caliper pistons in full, and they clamp the pads onto the disc.

Why renew the brake fluid?

The benefits:

• A firm lever and precise braking, even when the brakes heat up on long descents.
• Fresh fluid protects the master cylinder and caliper pistons from corrosion caused by moisture.
• “Racing” fluids cope better with heat, for competition and repeated hard braking.

When should you replace this part?

Renew the fluid by bleeding the system at least once a year, more often in competition, and whenever it has darkened or the lever feels spongy.
