The knobbly tyre for enduro and rally-raid, made to grip on rock, roots and mud.
BRIDGESTONE offers this enduro tyre. In enduro, a single ride strings together rocks, roots, mud, sand and sometimes road: the tyre has to grip everywhere and stand up to impacts.
The benefits:
BRIDGESTONE was founded in 1931 in Kurume, Japan, by Shojiro Ishibashi, whose name means 'stone bridge', hence the brand name. The company was the sole tyre supplier to MotoGP from 2009 to 2015.
Rounded, split or torn knobs from rocks, cut or cracked sidewalls: it needs replacing. In racing, it is changed as soon as the knob edges are no longer sharp; for leisure riding, at the latest when the knobs have lost about half their height. Rocks wear the knobs much faster than dirt, and a tyre stored for several years hardens, even if it has never been ridden.
Cross-Mania tip: Follow the rotation arrow, fit a new inner tube or a mousse matching the tyre size (with its mounting gel) and, if you race, check that your championship rules accept this tyre.
Choose the same size as the original tyre: it is moulded on the sidewall of your current tyre and given in the bike's manual.
