The MOTION PRO 14-9540 brake lever is designed for YAMAHA WRF 450, YZ 125, YZ 250, YZF 250, YZF 450 and KAWASAKI KXF 250, KXF 450 from 2007 to 2027. The front brake lever operates the master cylinder. It's the part that breaks most often in a crash: a spare one in the van saves you from finishing the day without a front brake.

When to replace it?

Lever bent, broken or snapped short after a crash.
Play in the pivot, lever that moves sideways.

Replace it as soon as it's bent or cracked: a straightened lever can snap the next time you brake.

Fitting tips

Undo the lever pivot bolt and remove the old lever, keeping any bushing.
Lightly grease the pivot bolt and the pivot with a suitable grease, without putting any grease on the master cylinder pushrod.
Fit the lever, then tighten the pivot bolt and the locknut without binding the movement.
Adjust the free play and the lever position, then check the brake with the bike stationary.
