PIVOT WORKS Rear Wheel Bearings And Seals Kit for KAWASAKI KFX 450 2008-2014

PIVOT WORKS offers this wheel bearing for KAWASAKI KFX 450 2008-2014. Each wheel spins on two bearings in the hub, separated by a spacer. Water and mud eventually damage them: play, rough spots, noise.

What is this bearing made of?

Races and balls in hardened chrome steel, 100Cr6 type, very hard and fatigue-resistant, protected by rubber seals.

• Double seal (2RS): a seal on each side, very well sealed against water and mud, essential off-road.
• Limit: slightly more drag than a metal-shielded bearing (ZZ), which spins more freely but seals far less well.
• Fitting: press or drift it in on the outer race, never hammer on the seal; keep the pressure washer away from the hubs.
