The kit that rebuilds the water pump, the part that circulates coolant through the engine.
COMETIC offers this water pump repair kit for YAMAHA WR 450 F, YZ 450 F from 2006 to 2015. The water pump moves coolant between the engine and radiators. Its shaft turns constantly and its seals wear: coolant eventually leaks, often from the small weep hole under the pump.
Why rebuild the water pump?
The benefits:
- Stop a coolant leak.
- Prevent engine overheating.
- Much cheaper than a complete pump.
Why choose COMETIC?
Cometic, the American gasket maker since 1989, produces all its gaskets in the USA, for original equipment and racing alike.
When should you replace the water pump on your YAMAHA WR 450 F?
Check the weep hole under the pump and the coolant level regularly. A pump bearing with play quickly wears new seals, so replace them together.
