The kit that rebuilds the water pump, the part that circulates coolant through the engine.
PROX offers this water pump repair kit for KTM SX-F 505, XC-F 505 from 2008 to 2009. The water pump moves coolant between the engine and radiators. Its shaft turns constantly and its seals wear: coolant eventually leaks, often from the small weep hole under the pump.
Why rebuild the water pump?
The benefits:
- Stop a coolant leak.
- Prevent engine overheating.
- Much cheaper than a complete pump.
Why choose PROX?
ProX, the Dutch engine-parts specialist since 1975, has its parts made in factories that also supply the manufacturers: OEM quality at a more affordable price.
When should you replace the water pump on your KTM SX-F 505?
Check the weep hole under the pump and the coolant level regularly. A pump bearing with play quickly wears new seals, so replace them together.
