The kit that rebuilds the water pump, the part that circulates coolant through the engine.
BOYESEN offers this water pump repair kit for KAWASAKI KX 250, KX 250 X, KXF 250 2017-2024. The water pump moves coolant between the engine and radiators. Its shaft turns constantly and its seals wear: coolant eventually leaks, often from the small weep hole under the pump.
Why rebuild the water pump?
The benefits:
- Stop a coolant leak.
- Prevent engine overheating.
- Much cheaper than a complete pump.
Why choose BOYESEN?
The Boyesen SuperCooler pump replaces the stock plastic impeller with a patented aluminium one, claimed by the brand to be 25 % more efficient.
When should you replace the water pump on your KAWASAKI KX 250?
Check the weep hole under the pump and the coolant level regularly. A pump bearing with play quickly wears new seals, so replace them together.
