The BOYESEN Supercooler BOYWPK-12M water pump kit is designed for KAWASAKI KX 250 from 1994 to 2004. The water pump circulates the coolant between the engine and the radiators. A performance water pump kit replaces stock parts to increase coolant flow: the engine gets rid of its heat better when it's working hard.

Fitting tips

1. With the engine cold, drain the coolant.
2. Remove the pump cover and, if the kit includes an impeller, the stock impeller, following the manual.
3. Check the pump shaft and its seals: at the slightest play or weeping, fit a water pump rebuild kit.
4. Fit the kit parts with new gaskets and tighten the cover bolts in a crisscross pattern, to the torque in the manual.
5. Refill with coolant, bleed the air and check for leaks.
