BOYESEN Reed Valve for KAWASAKI KX 65 and SUZUKI RM 65 2000-2021

The BOYESEN BOYRAD-15 reed valve block is designed for KAWASAKI KX 65 and SUZUKI RM 65 from 2000 to 2021. On a two-stroke, the reed valve block sits between the carburettor and the engine. Its petals open under suction and close again as soon as the pressure reverses: the engine's pick-up and power depend on how quickly they react and how much air gets through.

Fitting tips

1. Clean the gasket face of the cylinder or crankcase.
2. Fit the reed valve block with a new gasket, petals facing the engine.
3. Tighten the screws in a criss-cross pattern to the recommended torque.
4. Check the carburation and the colour of the spark plug after the first few rides.
