The valve, its core and its cap: the small parts you inflate the tyre through, which keep the air inside.
Available in several colours.
LIGHTECH offers this valve. The valve is the small tube you inflate the tyre through. Inside it, the core is a screw-in check valve that lets air in and stops it getting out; the cap keeps mud off the core and adds to the seal.
The benefits:
LIGHTECH is an Italian brand created in 1997 by Fabrizio Furlan from the family metalworking factory, and developed with World Superbike Championship teams. Its accessories are made of anodised aluminium, a coloured finish that resists corrosion better than bare aluminium.
A split, bent or leaking valve, a hissing core, a lost cap: replace them; on a tubeless rim, ideally change the rubber valve at every tyre change.
Available in several colours.
Cross-Mania tip: Check for leaks after fitting.
Choose the same size as the original tyre: it is moulded on the sidewall of your current tyre and given in the bike's manual.
