TOURMAX offers this valve adjustment shim. On a four-stroke engine there must be a small gap between the camshaft and each valve. As parts wear, this gap changes.

When should you replace this part?

Valve clearance is checked at the manufacturer's intervals with the engine cold. An exhaust valve whose clearance keeps closing up is often a sign of a worn valve or seat.
