On HUSQVARNA TC 250, TE 250, TE 310, TXC 250, TXC 310 from 2010 to 2014, the ATHENA S410220015006 spark plug tube seal fits in place of the original part. On a four-stroke, the spark plug sits at the bottom of a tube that passes through the valve cover. This seal closes off the tube on the valve train side: if it leaks, oil fills the tube and can cause misfires.

When to replace it?

• Oil at the bottom of the spark plug tube or on the plug cap.
• Misfiring, engine coughing.

Fitting tips

1. Remove the valve cover and clean out the tube.
2. Fit the new seal properly in place, without pinching it.
3. Refit with a valve cover gasket in good condition and a clean spark plug.
