      VHM offers this cylinder head insert for HUSQVARNA TC 300, TX 300, KTM SX 300, XC 300 and GAS GAS EX 300, MC 300 2023-2025. On a two-piece head, the insert (the "dome") forms the combustion chamber. Its volume and shape set the compression and the character of the engine.

      Why change the insert?

      When should you change the insert?

      Signs of detonation, leaking O-rings or the wish to change the compression: the insert can be swapped in minutes, with new O-rings.

      Specifications and fitting tips

      Available in several combustion-chamber volumes: a smaller volume raises compression (more punch, quality fuel essential), a larger one lowers it (smoother engine).

      Cross-Mania tip: Fit new O-rings, tighten in a cross pattern to the specified torque and, with a higher-compression insert, use high-octane fuel.
