Facom (Franco-Américaine de Construction d’Outillage Mécanique) was founded in Paris in 1918 by engineer Louis Mosès; its first tool was the “101” adjustable wrench, and in 1952 the brand introduced a lifetime warranty on its tools. Part of the Stanley group since 2006, it has supported drivers such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost and Sébastien Loeb.

When should you replace this tool?

A drawer that sticks or no longer locks, a broken castor, torn foam or a missing tool: replace the part or complete the set before the tool is missing at the wrong moment.

Cross-Mania tip: Put each tool back in its place after use, keep the heaviest ones in the bottom drawers and, on a roller cabinet, open only one loaded drawer at a time so it does not tip over.
