JMP offers this tyre accessory. Off-road tyres are thick and stiff: to get them off the rim and back on, you need tyre levers and, ideally, a bead holder that keeps the edge of the tyre (the bead) in the centre of the rim while fitting.
The benefits:
JMP stands for Johannes Matthies Products, the brand of the Matthies wholesale company, founded in Hamburg more than 80 years ago, which supplies tools, workshop equipment, wear parts and spares to the vehicle trade. Sold notably by the German specialist Louis, the JMP range covers many motorcycles as an alternative to original parts.
A bent tyre lever or one with a damaged tip, or a spoke wrench that has worn loose: replace them before they damage the rim or the spoke nipples.
Cross-Mania tip: Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Workshop tool: it works on any motorcycle or ATV. Just check the size or dimension stated.
