REMA TIP TOP Eurodainu Tire Inflator Michelin Licence

REMA TIP TOP offers this inflation accessory. Off-road, tyre pressure matters a lot: too low and the rim hits obstacles and the tube gets pinched; too high and the tyre bounces and grips less.

Why have your own inflation kit?

The benefits:

• The right pressure at every ride, measured with the same gauge: reliable settings from one time to the next.
• Depending on the model, a gauge that is accurate at low pressures, the ones used on off-road bikes and ATVs.
• Pump or CO2 to reinflate at the track: CO2 is quicker and more compact, but a cartridge can only be used once.

Why choose REMA TIP TOP?

REMA TIP TOP is a German company based in Poing, near Munich, which has made patches and tyre repair products since 1937. Its range covers the whole tyre repair process, from patches and plugs to mounting paste, valves and puncture-repair sprays.

When should you replace this part?

Replace a gauge that has taken a knock or no longer returns to zero, an inflator head that leaks on the valve, and CO2 cartridges once they have been used.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Pipe length: 1.5m
• Dial Ø80mm
• Manufacturer part number: 2123770

Cross-Mania tip: Measure the pressure cold, before riding, and always with the same gauge; after inflating with CO2, refill with air as soon as possible, as CO2 passes through rubber faster.

Compatibility

Choose the same size as the original tyre: it is moulded on the sidewall of your current tyre and given in the bike's manual.
