PROVAC Tire mounting Paste Black - 1kg

PROVAC offers this tyre mounting paste. A thin coat of paste lets the tyre bead, very stiff on an off-road tyre, slide against the rim: it gets over the flange more easily, then centres properly on the rim when inflated.

Why use mounting paste?

The benefits:

• A tyre that goes on with less effort and less risk of tearing the bead.
• Less force on the tyre levers, so less risk of pinching the tube or marking the rim.
• A bead that seats properly when inflated, for a wheel that runs true.

Why choose PROVAC?

PROVAC is a French company based in Rognac (southern France) specialising in equipment, tools and consumables for tyre professionals. It supplies tyre-fitting workshops with machines as well as consumables: mounting paste, valves, patches, plugs.

When should you replace this part?

It is a consumable to use at every tyre or mousse fitting; close the tub or bottle tightly after use so no sand or dust gets in.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Color: Black
• High lubricant properties, do not flow down & quick dry (Tire don't rotate on rim)
• Bucket 1Kg
• Manufacturer part number: SUPERWAXBL1

Cross-Mania tip: Apply a thin coat to the beads and the rim flange; never use oil or grease instead, as they damage the rubber.

Compatibility

Choose the same size as the original tyre: it is moulded on the sidewall of your current tyre and given in the bike's manual.
