RFX Race Interchangeable Multi Tip Spoke Key - Red

RFX offers this spoke wrench. The spoke wrench tightens the small threaded nipples that hold each spoke in the rim, to keep the wheel round and properly tensioned.

Why a proper spoke wrench?

The benefits:

• A grip of the right size that tightens the nipple without rounding it off, unlike pliers.
• Multi-size models or those with bits fit several nipple sizes, from one bike to another.
• A quick check before every ride, in the garage or at the track.

Why choose RFX?

RFX is a British brand of motocross and enduro parts and accessories.

When should you replace this part?

Replace it if it has developed play or its jaws are worn: it would round off the spoke nipples.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Color: Red
• Manufacturer part number: FXWT1090055RD

Cross-Mania tip: Tap each spoke with the wrench to find the loose ones (they sound duller than the others), then tighten them a quarter turn at a time, in a criss-cross pattern, checking that the rim stays true.

Compatibility

Choose the same size as the original tyre: it is moulded on the sidewall of your current tyre and given in the bike's manual.
