The product that seals a small puncture without removing the wheel, as an emergency fix or as a preventive.
SLIME offers this puncture sealant. These products seal a small puncture without removing the wheel: the spray connects to the valve and sends into the tyre a liquid that plugs the hole and a gas that reinflates it.
The benefits:
SLIME was born in 1989 in California, where the first bottles of sealant were mixed by hand in a garage; the brand now belongs to the American ITW group. Its fibre-based sealant plugs small punctures by itself: up to 6 mm in a tubeless tyre and 3 mm with an inner tube, according to the brand.
A spray is replaced after every use: always keep a full one in your bag, and respect the use-by date if one is given.
Cross-Mania tip: Choose the version made for your setup (tubeless or inner tube) and, after an emergency repair, fix or replace the tyre as soon as possible.
Choose the same size as the original tyre: it is moulded on the sidewall of your current tyre and given in the bike's manual.
