The chain linking the crankshaft to the camshaft so the valves and piston stay in sync.
PROX offers this cam chain for KAWASAKI KXF 450 2024-2026. In a four-stroke engine, the timing chain transfers the crankshaft’s motion to the camshaft.
Why replace the timing chain?
The benefits:
- Replace a stretched, noisy chain.
- Restore precise valve timing.
- Best replaced with the tensioner and guides for a fully new set.
Why choose PROX?
ProX, the Dutch engine-parts specialist since 1975, has its parts made in factories that also supply the manufacturers: OEM quality at a more affordable price.
When should you replace the timing chain on your KAWASAKI KXF 450?
Hard hot starting, valve clearance that keeps closing up or a noisy timing chain: the valve train is wearing.
