The large toothed wheel bolted to the rear wheel: the chain meshes with it to drive the bike forward.

AFAM offers this rear sprocket for SUZUKI DR-Z 125 L, DR-Z 125 LL, DRZ 125 and KAWASAKI KLX 125, KLX 125 L 2003-2025. The rear sprocket receives the engine’s power through the chain and turns the rear wheel. Its number of teeth sets the gearing: with more teeth the bike accelerates harder but has a lower top speed; with fewer teeth it is the other way round.

Why fit a new rear sprocket?
