From trackside to the drive home, the LEATT RideViz Lite Sunglasses keep your vision comfortable in bright sunshine, in the satin black colourway.
VLT is the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens: the lower it is, the darker the lens and the better suited to bright sun; the higher it is, the better it works on overcast days. It's the simplest way to choose your lenses.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
Choose the VLT for your use: low for bright sun, higher for changeable days. Rinse the lenses before wiping them, as paddock dust would scratch them. For riding, stick with your motocross goggles: sunglasses are made for the paddock and everyday life.
Can I ride off-road with these sunglasses?
No: with a motocross helmet, you need goggles, which seal against your face and keep out dust, mud and roost. These sunglasses are made for the paddock, driving and outdoor activities.
Polarised or photochromic lenses: what's the difference?
A polarised lens cuts reflections from water, wet roads or shiny surfaces; a photochromic lens darkens or lightens with the brightness. The lens type is given in the product name.
