The LEATT 2.5 Body armour vest is a body armour vest that covers your chest, back and, depending on the model, your shoulders, for motocross and enduro.
More enveloping than a chest protector, a body armour vest covers your torso and back and stays comfortable over a long day of enduro.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
Adjust the vest so it doesn't move while you ride. Pick a jersey that is roomy enough. Clean with soapy water and air-dry.
What is the difference from a chest protector?
The vest is worn close to the body and covers more area; a chest protector is a stiffer shell against roost.
How do I wash it?
By hand in soapy water, after taking out the removable protectors, then air-dry.
