The LEATT 3DF AirFit Lite Evo Chest Protective shirt is a protective base layer with built-in protectors held close to the body, for motocross and enduro.
A protective shirt is a close-fitting technical base layer that keeps the protectors (shoulders, chest or back depending on the model) firmly in place, without the bulk of a chest protector.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
Choose a snug size: it should hug your body so the protectors stay in place. Wear your motocross jersey over it. Wash at 30°C, with the protectors taken out if they are removable.
Does it replace a chest protector?
It protects without the bulk of a chest protector; for motocross with lots of roost, a chest protector still gives more coverage.
