ELECTROSPORT offers this stator for POLARIS SPORTSMAN 400, SPORTSMAN 450, SPORTSMAN 500 6X6, SPORTSMAN 500 HO, SPORTSMAN 500 TOURING 2000-2014. The stator produces the electricity the machine needs to run. It is fixed under the ignition cover, and the flywheel, with its magnets, spins around it with the engine.

Why replace the stator?

• Get a normal spark and battery charge back after a winding has burnt out.
• A part designed to fit in place of the original, with no modification.
• Repair the charging and ignition without replacing the whole alternator: the original flywheel is kept.

Cross-Mania tip: Fit a new ignition cover gasket, secure the stator screws as the manufacturer specifies (threadlocker) and route the wiring through its grommet, well away from the flywheel.
