ELECTROSPORT offers this stator for YAMAHA YFM 50 RAPTOR 2WD, YFM 80 BADGER 2WD, YFM 80 RAPTOR 2WD 1992-2009. The stator produces the electricity the machine needs to run. It is fixed under the ignition cover, and the flywheel, with its magnets, spins around it with the engine.
Why replace the stator?

- Get a normal spark and battery charge back after a winding has burnt out.
- A part designed to fit in place of the original, with no modification.
- Repair the charging and ignition without replacing the whole alternator: the original flywheel is kept.

When should you replace this part?
Blackened windings or burnt varnish, a battery that no longer charges although the regulator is fine, an engine that cuts out when hot or no spark: test the windings with a multimeter.

Cross-Mania tip: Fit a new ignition cover gasket, secure the stator screws as the manufacturer specifies (threadlocker) and route the wiring through its grommet, well away from the flywheel.
